The main instrument for financing research activities in the European Union, Horizon 2020, puts at the service of all types of entities a total budget of around € 75,000 Million for the period 2014-2020.
The characteristics and financing conditions offered by H2020 have, as you know, aroused great interest in all countries, reducing the success rate achieved. But this has not slowed the efforts of Spanish entities, which are achieving excellent results. Led by the companies, and followed by the Universities, the Spanish entities have placed Spain in the fourth position in the ranking of countries by subsidy received, achieving a return of 10% EU-28, during the period 2014-2017.
